Policies and General Information
Viewing

Parents are welcome to stay and watch classes or are free to leave their children with the teacher. For safety reasons, children are not however, free to run back and fourth from the teacher to parent during class. Please encourage your child to stay with the teacher for the duration of the class. Before class begins, students are to remain seated in our bleacher section or are welcome to play with our toddler toys. Children not enrolled in classes are to remain in the bleacher section with their parents or are welcome to play with our toddler toys.

Attire

Please have children wear streachy, comfortable clothes. Shorts and a t-shirt are great! Girls can wear leotards. Shoes are not worn, but socks are optional. Also, for safety, any hair that touches the shoulders or falls into the eyes must be pulled back securely. No jewelry of any kind is allowed. If jewelry cannot be removed, it will be taped down.

Make-Up Classes

We have a very liberal make up policy. If you are not able to attend your regularly scheduled preschool or beginner class, you may make it up in any of our other preschool or beginner classes, or you may attend a free open gym. Advanced Recreational classes have 1 make-up day a month, or you may attend a free open gym. Classes my be made-up anytime as long as you're enrolled in the program.

Inclimate Weather

Desert Gymnastics will continue to run classes no matter what the weather conditions. If you choose not to attend, your child will recieve a make-up for their missed class.
